Is insurance included in the price of the rental?

No – You will need to provide your own valid insurance policy that covers hired-in goods and specifies drones. Some Insurance providers can offer you this kind of coverage on an annual or ad-hoc basis.

You also need to factor loss of hire costs in the event that DroneWorksIreland is unable to hire out the equipment to other clients as a result of damage caused.

In the case where you do not have insurance, we can take a very large deposit in case of damage to the drone.
Do I have to pay to return equipment?

Yes – there is a delivery charge of €15.00/£15.00 to your location, and a collection charge of €15.00 after the rental period is complete. There is no charge for in-store collection or drop off.
What is the lead time for a booking?

Drone Works Ireland can ship items out up to 2 pm Monday to Friday for next-day delivery.

However, you should check availability well in advance to ensure that the equipment required is available.

First-time renters will need to complete an application form and undergo a background check – this can take up to 2 working days.
What do I need to rent equipment from Drone Works?

You will need a copy of a recent utility bill for the address to the equipment is being shipped to, photo ID and a deposit. In exceptional cases, we may also require references.
